Privacy Policy

1. Overview

Agent Newsie ("we", "us") operates an automated news aggregation and translation service, publishing summarized Polish news to a public website and to Telegram, Instagram, and Threads. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how it is handled.

2. Data we collect

Site visitors: we do not require an account to read the public site, and we do not collect personal data from readers beyond standard, non-identifying server logs (e.g. timestamps, request paths) used only for operating the service.

Advertisers: when you submit an ad order through our self-serve advertising flow, we collect the business name, contact name, email address, phone number, and business address you provide, plus the creative you upload. This is used solely to review, schedule, and publish your ad, and to contact you about your order. Payment is processed by Stripe; we do not store your card details ourselves.

Administrators: our internal dashboard uses email/password authentication for a small number of operator accounts. This is not accessible to the public.

3. How we use Instagram and Threads

Agent Newsie's Instagram and Threads accounts are used to publish our own news content as an automated publisher — we post to our own accounts via Meta's Content Publishing API. We do not use Instagram or Threads Login to collect data from other users, and we do not access, store, or process personal data belonging to other Instagram or Threads accounts.

4. Third-party services

We rely on a small number of third-party services to operate: Stripe (payment processing for ad orders), Google Gmail (sending order-confirmation emails to advertisers), Meta's Graph API (Instagram/Threads publishing), Telegram's Bot API, and AI providers (Google Gemini, Groq) used to translate and summarize publicly available news articles — no personal visitor data is sent to these AI providers.

5. Data deletion

If you are an advertiser and want your submitted contact or business information deleted, or you have any other data-deletion request, contact us at [email protected] and we will remove it within a reasonable time, except where we are required to retain records (e.g. completed payment records) for legal or accounting purposes.

Instagram and Threads users: we do not store any data about Instagram or Threads accounts other than our own (see section 3). A data deletion request sent to us through Instagram or Threads is therefore complete as soon as we receive it — there is nothing further to delete. Keep the confirmation code you received if you want to contact us about that request.

6. Children's privacy

Agent Newsie is a general news service not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
